Here at eWatches
we like to stay on top of all the latest news in the watch industry.
And so we were particularly excited by today’s announcement by Seiko, regarding their new Spring Drive system.
The new movement draws the line between mechanical and electronic
watches in a way that only the Japanese could innovatively design.
Trust the Japanese to blur that line. The Spring Drive system by
Seiko is pretty incredible. Like any mechanical watch movement it is
powered by a wound-up mainspring, but converts that power to electrical
energy, which – via a tiny quartz crystal – in turn generates
electromagnetic force to drive the rotation of the hands. This
combined means that the Seiko Spring Drive movement is
supremely accurate with hands that glide round smoothly, rather than the
traditional start-stop-start in tiny increments that is characteristic
of mechanical watch movements. vedere di piu watches replica e Hublot King Power
